How to find genuine OEM parts for your car using eBay

Spare parts are essential for your car, no matter how well you look after it. Eventually, a filter will clog up entirely or a bulb will fail and need replacing. You wouldn't risk using sub-standard parts and while you can look for spare parts yourself, it can be a time-consuming affair, not to mention a hassle finding the correct part that’s guaranteed to fit.

At the forefront of each store are the consumable parts (also called non-serviceable parts) your car uses that will require changing over time. These parts are fairly simple to change yourself with nothing more than a basic tool kit, perfect for saving you some cash for basic car maintenance without scrimping on quality.

Take an air filter as a perfect example. This consumable part keeps your engine from ingesting debris that can cause costly damage but needs to be replaced every so often. Clickmechanic estimate it costs on average £60 for a dealer to replace one when all that you need to do is unclip the airbox cover, remove the old filter and add a new one in its place. You don’t even need any tools for it. Sourcing one from eBay will save you cash and keep your car running smoothly.
